Senior Reliability Engineer

We have an opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Reliability Team within the Engineering and Maintenance Services Department at QAL. This role is site based.

Role responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate and solving recurring reliability problems
• Provide engineering support to operating sections
• Assist in improving key asset reliability and the delivery of business objectives

Skills required:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering
• A minimum of 5-7 years experience in a Refinery/Industrial environment
• Application of Reliability Centred Maintenance principles (RCA, FMECA)
• Extensive experience and understanding in Asset Management and its application within a large complex operation
• Excellent data analysis skills using computer based maintenance systems
• Utilisation of reliability data for continuous improvement and asset replacement strategies
• Extensive knowledge of static and rotating equipment and failure modes
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Ability to work well unsupervised in a team environment
• Possess good communication skills
